The Kwara Kiddies League (KKL) is abuzz with excitement as the nominees for the “Midfielder of the Year” award have been officially announced. 

Six exceptional players have earned recognition for their outstanding performances in the midfield throughout the 2023 season.

The nominees for the “Midfielder of the Year” award are as follows:

Ajayi Vincent – Arsenal Kiddies: Vincent has been a linchpin in the Arsenal Kiddies’ midfield, displaying a remarkable combination of vision, passing accuracy, and defensive tenacity.

Abdulsalam Fuhad – KFA: Fuhad’s contributions to KFA’s midfield have been invaluable. His ability to control the tempo of the game and provide crucial assists has played a pivotal role in KFA’s success this season.

Emeka Joachim – Abraysports: Joachim has been a standout performer for Abraysports, showcasing his versatility in both defensive and attacking roles in the midfield. His work rate and skill set have not gone unnoticed.

Aaron Isaac – KFA: Isaac’s consistent performances in the midfield have been a driving force behind KFA’s impressive campaign. His ball-winning abilities and composure under pressure make him a strong contender for the award.

Aina Olanrewaju – KFA: Olanrewaju has been a dynamic presence in KFA’s midfield, contributing both defensively and offensively. His ability to dictate play and create scoring opportunities sets him apart.

Oluwanisola Ibrahim – Afrikan Kiddies: Ibrahim has been a key figure in Afrikan Kiddies’ midfield, demonstrating exceptional ball control and a knack for breaking down opposition defenses. His performances have been crucial to his team’s success.

The winners will be revealed at the grand 2023 End of the Year Awards ceremony, scheduled on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
