The Kwara Kiddies League (KKL) is set for an exciting climax to the year as the nominees for the “Goalkeepers of the Year” are officially announced. 

These exceptional shot-stoppers have displayed remarkable skill and agility between the posts, earning them recognition for their outstanding performances throughout the 2023 season.

The nominees for “Goalkeepers of the Year” are as follows:

Ige Samuel – Abraysports: Samuel has been a formidable presence in Abraysports’ goal, consistently making crucial saves to keep his team in contention. His shot-stopping abilities and composure under pressure have been pivotal.

Tajudeen Abdulmalik – Surprise FA: Abdulmalik has been a reliable last line of defense for Surprise FA, showcasing excellent reflexes and command of his penalty area. His contributions have played a crucial role in Surprise FA’s defensive stability.

Adeleke Isiah – KFA: Isiah has stood tall in KFA’s goal, earning recognition for his consistent performances. His shot-stopping skills and ability to organize the defense have been instrumental in KFA’s success this season.

Shehu Zakariyau – Afrikan Kiddies: Zakariyau has been a standout goalkeeper for Afrikan Kiddies, exhibiting cat-like reflexes and a commanding presence in the box. His performances have been crucial in Afrikan Kiddies’ defensive efforts.

The winners will be unveiled at the prestigious 2023 End of the Season Awards ceremony, scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
